SPU is promoting another long standing Member to Group Leader. The Rank of Group Leader shows strong commitment and passion for the game and for our Soc and is an expression of appreciation by the soc members for these long standing services The Soc now has two Group Leaders, Kosh and Malachalypse which is adequate given the increase in Soc Members. SPU held an online 6 hour Birthday bash ingame on Saturday 15/02006. The event included some PVP action and climaxed with two globals on Hisp and Mining Bots. (Full story on Forum)

SPU is considering expanding to another RCE mmorpg in the future called Afterworld. You can check out their website on www. afterworld.ru. So far they are in Alpha testing mode. Some have been able to register to their service and are able to check this out. Some SPU members are part of the testers and what we have seen so far looks promising ;) If this turns out a nice project, SPU might be dancing on two parties in the future.
SPU has gone live. The soc has been created and SPU is recruiting for (hopefully) a short period only. So should you be interested in joining, please go to the "Applying for Membership" section of the SPU forum.
